Chronicle Raises $12M in Seed Funding Led by Strobe

Chronicle, the first oracle on Ethereum, has raised $12 million in seed funding led by Strobe (formerly Blocktower Venture Capital) with participation from Brevan Howard, 6th Man Ventures, and others. This funding round marks a significant milestone for Chronicle as it continues to develop its oracle technology.

This morning, it was revealed that USD1 will be minted on Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain blockchains, with the possibility of future protocols. WLFI’s USD1 will be 100% backed by short-term US government treasuries, US dollar deposits, and other cash equivalents, and BitGo will custody the reserves.
